We want you to love every piece you receive and if for any reason you don't, we've made our refund and returns process as straightforward and stress-free as possible. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.
01 OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU
Your satisfaction is at the heart of everything we do at Life's In Session. We curate every collection with exceptional care and quality but we understand that sometimes a piece simply isn't the right fit. Whether it's the size, the style, or something else entirely, we are here to make it right. Our refund policy is designed to give you complete peace of mind every time you shop with us.
02 ELIGIBILITY FOR A REFUND
To be eligible for a refund or return, your item must meet all of the following conditions:
- Returned within 15 days of the confirmed delivery date
- Unworn, unwashed, and in its original unaltered condition
- Free from any damage, stains, odors, or signs of wear
- All original tags and labels still fully attached
- Returned in its original packaging where possible
- Accompanied by valid proof of purchase or order confirmation
Items that do not meet all of the above conditions may not be eligible for a full refund and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis by our customer service team.
03 NON-REFUNDABLE ITEMS
Certain items are not eligible for return or refund due to their nature. These include:
- Items marked as Final Sale or Non-Returnable at the time of purchase
- Intimates, underwear, and swimwear for hygiene reasons
- Accessories including jewelry, scarves, and belts that have been worn or show signs of use
- Gift cards and store credit vouchers
- Items that have been customized or personalized specifically for you
- Items returned after the 15-day return window has expired

04 HOW TO INITIATE A RETURN
Starting a return with Life's In Session is simple and straightforward. Please follow these steps:
Step 1 Contact our customer service team within 15 days of receiving your order via email at or through our Contact Us page. Include your order number, the item you wish to return, and the reason for your return.
Step 2 Our team will review your request and respond within 1–2 business days with return authorization and full instructions on how to send your item back to us.
Step 3 Carefully package your item in its original condition with all tags attached. Include your proof of purchase inside the package.
Step 4 Ship your return using a trackable shipping method. We recommend retaining your shipping receipt as proof of postage until your refund has been fully processed.
Step 5 Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you by email and process your refund or exchange within 5–7 business days.
05 REFUND PROCESSING
Once your returned item has been received and inspected by our team, we will send you an email notification confirming that your return has been received and advising whether your refund has been approved or declined based on the condition of the item.
If your refund is approved, it will be processed and automatically applied to your original payment method within 5–7 business days of approval. Please note that depending on your bank or card provider, it may take an additional 3–5 business days for the refunded amount to appear in your account. Processing times vary between financial institutions and are outside of our control.
If your refund is declined due to the condition of the returned item, our team will contact you directly to discuss the available options.
06 EXCHANGES
If you would like to exchange your item for a different size, color, or style, please follow the same return initiation process outlined in Section 04 above and clearly indicate that you are requesting an exchange rather than a refund. Exchanges are subject to product availability at the time of the request.
If the item you wish to exchange for is not available in your preferred size or color, we will offer you the choice of a store credit, an alternative item of equal value, or a full refund. Our team will always work with you to find the best possible solution.
07 RETURN SHIPPING COSTS
Customer-initiated returns: Unless the return is the result of a defective, damaged, or incorrect item received, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a tracked and insured shipping method to ensure your return reaches us safely. Life's In Session cannot be held responsible for return packages that are lost or damaged in transit.
Life's In Session-initiated returns: If your item arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from what was described or shown on our website, we will cover all return shipping costs in full and arrange for either a replacement or a complete refund at no additional cost to you.
08 DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS
We take the utmost care in quality-checking and packaging every Life's In Session order before it is dispatched. However, if your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order. To help us resolve the issue as efficiently as possible please include the following:
- Clear photographs of the damaged or defective item
- Photographs of the original packaging
- Your order number and a brief description of the issue
Once we have reviewed your claim, we will arrange a full replacement or complete refund whichever you prefer at absolutely no cost to you. Your experience matters to us and we will always make it right.
09 INCORRECT ORDERS
In the rare event that you receive an item that differs from what you ordered whether in style, size, or color please contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and clear photographs of the item received. We will arrange for the correct item to be dispatched to you and cover all associated return and reshipment costs. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by an order error and will resolve it as a matter of priority.
10 STORE CREDIT
In certain circumstances, Life's In Session may offer store credit as an alternative to a monetary refund. Store credit will be issued in the full value of the returned item and can be applied to any future purchase on Life's In Session. Store credit is non-transferable, has no cash value, and cannot be combined with other promotional offers unless otherwise stated.
11 SALE & PROMOTIONAL ITEMS
Items purchased during sale events, promotional periods, or with discount codes may be subject to modified return and refund terms. Any such modifications will be clearly communicated at the time of purchase. Items marked as Final Sale are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund under any circumstances unless they arrive damaged or defective.
12 INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
For customers outside the United States, please be aware that return shipping for international orders is the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to a damaged, defective, or incorrect item. International customers are also responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or fees associated with returning an item. We recommend contacting our customer service team before initiating an international return so we can guide you through the process and ensure everything goes smoothly.
13 GIFT RETURNS
If you received a Life's In Session item as a gift and wish to return it, please contact our customer service team with the original order number and a description of the item. Gift returns that meet our standard eligibility criteria will be processed as store credit issued to the gift recipient not as a refund to the original purchaser's payment method.
14 LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS
If you have not received your refund within the expected processing timeframe, please take the following steps before contacting us:
- Check your bank account or card statement again carefully
- Contact your bank or card provider processing times can vary
- Allow an additional 3–5 business days as some institutions take longer to post credits
If you have completed all of the above steps and your refund has still not appeared, please contact us directly at with your order number and we will investigate and resolve the matter promptly.
